Zion Lutheran is proud to support the following organizations through regular financial, prayer and volunteer support. Please read more about these ministires and support them in anyway that you can.

Community Kitchen

Delivered through a partnership with Western Theological Seminary, the Community Kitchen provides a place to identify the needs and struggles of our most vulnerable neighbors while providing them with a free meal.

  • Monday-Friday 11:30-1:00pm

  • Saturday-Sunday 9:00am-10:30am

Hand2Hand has been making an impact in the lives of children, families, schools, churches, and communities since it began in 2008 with 19 children. Thousands of children have been fed as Christ followers have risen to the task of feeding children in their own neighborhood. Teachers and schools are also impacted as others help meet the basic needs of students so that they can learn.

Barnabas Ministries

The Barnabas Family of Ministries includes a number of ways for youth and parents to become involved in relationships, events, and activities of many kinds.

All facets of the Barnabas Family are intended to strengthen individuals and families while developing relationships of significant influence.

Lutheran Hour Ministries

Bringing Christ to the Nations—and the Nations to the Church

Christ to the Nations — Lutheran Hour Ministries develops culturally relevant programs and projects that proclaim the Gospel to the unchurched, encouraging those people who are reached through these ministry efforts to respond by contacting staff or volunteers.

Nations to the Church — Lutheran Hour Ministries then cultivates relationships with those who respond to ultimately facilitate a relationship between them and a congregation, thus helping grow the kingdom of God.

Beacon of Hope

Beacon of Hope exists as God's handreaching out to the broken and hurting by providing, at no cost, physical, emotional and spiritual assistance.

Center for Women in Transition

Eighth Day Farm

We believe God created the world in love, sent Jesus to restore the world to God’s design, and calls us through a creative Spirit to join him as he makes all things new.

Lutheran Bible Translators

Mission: Lutheran Bible Translators makes God’s Word accessible to those who do not yet have it in the language of their hearts.

Vision: God is transforming the lives of people around the world as they read and use His Word in their heart language.
